Queen Camilla stepped out on Monday in a blue midi dress by her go-to designer Fiona Clare for a visit to the new RHS and BBC Radio 2 “Dog Garden” at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home in London. Britain’s Queen Consort has a special connection to the rescue facility, having adopted a puppy from the nonprofit organization in February.

This was Camilla’s second time wearing the same Fiona Clare blue dress in public, as she styled the ensemble for her tour of Australia with King Charles III in October 2024. The blue dress featured ornate embroidery at the cuffs and the hemline of the frock.

A standout accessory of Queen Camilla’s attire was her Lucky Animals Dog brooch from Van Cleef & Arpels. The brooch comes courtesy of the French luxury jewelry brand’s Lucky Animals collection, featuring “playful creations of ‘la boutique’ from the 1950s onwards,” per the label’s official website.

The Lucky Animals collection, first introduced in 2017, features a menagerie of creatures from owls to lions, horses, dogs and more. The dog brooch worn by Queen Camilla on Monday was crafted from 18-karat gold, onyx and mother-of-pearl materials, featuring a playful design.

Queen Camilla has been a patron of Battersea Dogs & Cats Home since 2017 and has a close personal connection with the organization. In February, the queen consort revealed she’d adopted a puppy from the nonprofit group, sharing a photo of her new puppy, Moley, via the British royal family‘s official Instagram account in May.

Along with her Van Cleef & Arpels dog brooch, Queen Camilla styled other pieces of jewelry from the brand. The queen consort regularly wears bracelets from the label for day-to-day outings and even formal occasions.

Queen Camilla has made similar nods to her daytime engagements with her accessories. In September 2024, the queen consort wore the Van Cleef & Arpels ballerina brooch during a visit with the English National Ballet at the Mulryan Centre for Dance in London.
