State-level tennis player Radhika Yadav was killed by her father, Deepak Yadav. A bright tennis player with 18 models to her name, Radhika took a break from her career and was running an academy, which was said to be the reason for her untimely demise, as her father was not on good terms with her doing the same. Deepak reportedly used to be taunted by the locals, which built up a complicated ego, leading him to shoot his daughter dead.
A neighbour of Radhika Yadav reveals that there might be a love angle in her murder case
As shocking as it is, now a neighbour revealed that there might also be a love angle in this case. While police haven’t confirmed it yet, the new information can turn the entire scenario of the case. A neighbour told the Hindustan Times that Radhika was in love with someone from a different caste, but her father wanted her marriage to happen in the same caste. Stating that he was old school and conservative, the neighbour revealed:
“Radhika wanted to marry someone outside her caste but her father wanted the marriage in the same caste. He was old school and conservative.”
On the other hand, the police revealed that nothing other than a taunting angle is there in this case, and Deepak Yadav said that he killed his daughter by being instigated by the comments of people, due to his living off his daughter. Well, according to the police, Deepak didn’t kill his daughter impulsively, but he had a plan.
Sharing more about the same, police shared that on other days, he himself goes to bring milk, but on July 10, 2025, he sent his son. Radhika was cooking a meal for her mother’s birthday when Deepak pulled out his licensed revolver and fired five bullets, and four of them hit Radhika, leading to her demise. As per the police, the reason hasn’t been confirmed by Deepak about what led him to kill his daughter. It wasn’t confirmed whether Manju Yadav, Radhika’s mother, was aware of the situation, but according to the police, she might have had some knowledge of it. Police can be quoted as saying:
“No other motive other than Deepak’s decision asking his daughter to shut down the academy after taunts by villagers has surfaced… We are further quizzing him to corroborate several more things. He hasn’t given a clear reason yet, nor confirmed if his wife was aware of the plan – but it appears she may have had some knowledge.”
Deepak Yadav’s friend claimed that he has a whole lot of properties, and thus, the ‘taunting’ angle isn’t seemingly true
As per reports, and Deepak Yadav’s claims, it was said that, being frustrated with people’s comments, he killed his daughter. One of his close friends told CNN-News18 that he could never do the same, as he himself had a whole lot of properties. It was also reported that his salary was in lakhs, which raised questions about him killing his daughter, depending on people’s sayings. His friend could be quoted as saying:
“He has a lot a property and hence this statement that he was being taunted is not accurate.”
On the other hand, reports claimed that it was because of a reel video, which angered Deepak Yadav. Soon after that, one of her music videos made the rounds on social media. As per her co-star, Radhika didn’t have any social media, and he interacted with her only depending on professional matters. Radhika even told her co-star that her father actually liked her music video. Recent reports revealed that Radhika’s dad asked her to close her academy, which she refused to do, and this led Deepak to kill her.
