Shriyam Bhagnani is over the moon with an unexpected development on social media. The versatile actor, R. Madhavan, who is Shriyam’s long-standing idol, has heaped praises on her for her performance in Aap Jaisa Koi.

Shriyam reminisces, saying, “R. Madhavan sir is one of the finest actors we have, and it’s been a sheer honour to work with him. When I read the script and I was told that I would be sharing screen space with him, I couldn’t contain my excitement, and in fact, I even stuttered in my first take because it was face to face with him.”
As the actor gears up for Netflix release Aap Jaisa Koi ahead of the much-anticipated biopic Sumo Didi, she goes on to share, “Madhavan sir is a brilliant and versatile actor. His praising of my work was an absolute eye-opening moment for me. Receiving his appreciation has given me such a boost in confidence.”
R. Madhavan wrote, “Very impressed with the way you delivered your dialogues and ease with which words flew out of your mouth, the right expressions, even though we had limited scenes together, they were so impactful. Wish you all the very best”.
Shriyam plays the role of Nisha in Aap Jaisa Koi. Actress Shriyam Bhagnani, known for her performances in City of Dreams and Baaghi 2, is set to appear in the upcoming Netflix original Aap Jaisa Koi, produced by Dharmatic Entertainment. The romantic drama, headlined by R Madhavan and Fatima Sana Shaikh, will premiere globally on Netflix on July 11, 2025.
The release marks the beginning of an exciting phase for Shriyam, who will soon be seen in Sumo Didi, a JioCinema biopic where she portrays Hetal Dave – India’s first and only professional female sumo wrestler.
