Actor Mannara Chopra, cousin of Priyanka Chopra, has spoken out for the first time nearly a month after the loss of her father. In her heartfelt statement, she expressed sincere gratitude to everyone who offered support and stood by her during this difficult period.

On Thursday, Mannara took to Instagram to share an update and thank her fans and well-wishers for their support during this challenging time. She mentioned that she is slowly moving forward and has already returned to work.
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the love and support you’ve shown to me and my family during these tough times,” she wrote in the note. The message continued, “Resuming work now, with gratitude in my heart.”
Her fans and well-wishers came together to show their support, flooding the comment section with messages of love and encouragement. The post also received a like from her cousin, Priyanka. “You’re the strongest,” one user commented, while another wrote, “Stay strong my girl… love you… God bless you.”
According to a report by Zoom, Mannara’s dad, Raman, had not been keeping well for many days. He was staying in Delhi with his family and has left behind his wife, Kamini and his two daughters Mannara and Mitali. Raman took his last breath after suffering from age-related complications, and the tragic news left all devastated.
Mannara had also mourned the loss of her father with an Instagram Story that spoke on the details related to the last rites of her father. With a heavy heart, she wrote, “With profound grief and sorrow we inform the sad demise of our loving father who left us for his heavenly abode on June 16, 2025. He was pillar of strength to our family.”
