Comedian Kapil Sharma’s newly launched café in Surrey, British Columbia, was targeted in a late-night firing, with 12 bullets shot at the premises on July 9. Canada-based Khalistani terrorist Harjeet Singh Laddi, linked to the banned outfit Babbar Khalsa International, has claimed responsibility. According to sources, the attack was in retaliation for alleged remarks about Nihang Sikhs on The Kapil Sharma Show. Laddi, also named in the 2024 killing of a VHP leader, had reportedly tried to contact Sharma before issuing a threat. Similar attacks on AP Dhillon and Gippy Grewal’s homes were also captured on video, showing a troubling pattern.
