Nicole Kidman is joining a long list of celebrities who are supporting Demna ahead of his departure from Balenciaga. The “Nine Perfect Strangers” star arrived at the fashion label’s couture fall 2025 show on Wednesday, wearing an all-black ensemble and sharp, pointed pumps.

Styled by Jason Bolden, Kidman put an edgy spin on the traditional pantsuit, wearing a black blazer as a shirt, with nothing underneath. She buttoned it halfway, baring her midsection, thanks to a pair of low-rise, loose-fitting dress pants — also in black.
Kidman hopped out of her car and strolled over to greet fans while floating on a pair of Balenciaga’s Avenue pumps. She wore the Avenue pump in black, which is currently available on the brand’s website for $1,190. The Avenue 110mm pump is made with a sleek, black glossy patent calfskin leather.

Like many of Balenciaga’s pumps, the shoes featured an ultra elongated pointed toe, as well as a thin-as-a-knife stiletto heel. A metal BB logo is located on the back of the heel, leading to a tone-on-tone covered heel. Kidman completed the look with Balenciaga sunglasses and a leather clutch.
Celebrities sitting front row at the Balenciaga show wore different variations of the brand’s most popular pumps. Lauren Sánchez, Katy Perry, Cardi B, Lori Harvey, and more wore the designer’s all-black looks with their Space Pumps, their Knife Pumps, and more. The fall 2025 couture show marks Demna‘s final collection with Balenciaga after 10 years as its creative director. Starting Thursday, Pierpaolo Piccioli will become the artistic director of Balenciaga.
