The post comes just days after Salman Khan unveiled the motion poster of Battle of Galwan, his highly anticipated patriotic drama. Showcasing him in a fierce and intense avatar, the motion poster has already received overwhelming praise online. With excitement building, fans are now eagerly looking forward to the next big update from the film.
According to a report by Bollywood Bubble, Battle of Galwan is set to go on floors this August. A source revealed that the film’s first schedule will be shot in Ladakh, followed by subsequent shoots in Mumbai and Kashmir.
Battle of Galwan is inspired by the real-life clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers in the Galwan Valley in June 2020. The confrontation, which took place without the use of firearms due to existing bilateral agreements, was one of the deadliest border stand-offs in over forty years. Despite being outnumbered and under-equipped, Indian soldiers held their ground with remarkable courage, relying solely on sheer determination and improvised weapons.
Set at an altitude of over 15,000 feet, the film aims to portray the bravery, strategic resilience, and unwavering endurance of the Indian Army as they operated in the harsh and unforgiving terrain of the Galwan Valley.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan has a slate of major projects in the pipeline. Sequels to Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Kick, and Andaz Apna Apna are reportedly in development. There are also rumours that he may team up with Sanjay Dutt for an action-packed film titled Ganga Ram, and reunite with Sooraj Barjatya for a heartwarming family drama.
