Range Music is launching a composer division, the company announced on Thursday, bringing on veteran agent Jeff Jernigan as the new division’s first official hire.

Jernigan comes to Range from Kraft-Engel Management, one of the most prominent composer representation companies in the business. Before Kraft-Engel, he worked at BMG Music Publishing, as well as at performing rights organization ASCAP. Jernigan’s client list includes composers Steve Price (Gravity), Tom Howe (Ted Lasso), Raffertie (The Substance), Brandon Roberts (Andor), Joseph Stephens (The Righteous Gemstones), Disasterpeace (It Follows), and Helen Park (KPOP), as well as music supervisors Amanda Krieg Thomas and Steven Gizicki.

Jernigan had worked with Range in the past, specifically with Range’s co-president of film & production, Fred Berger; Berger produced La La Land and A Complete Unknown, both of which had Gizicki serving as music supervisor. Range Media Partners‘ music division manages artists, songwriters and producers including Jack Harlow, Noah Cyrus, Shaboozey, Saweetie, Dylan Gossett, Sean Douglas and Wondagurl.
