Verraco Signs to XL for New EP Basic Maneuvers, Shares Song

JP López, the Colombian producer who operates as Verraco, has announced his debut EP for XL. Basic Maneuvers, which follows last year’s Breathe… Godspeed EP, arrives May 29 via the label’s house bag series. Check out lead track “Basic Maneuvers” below, along with the cover art and tracklist.

Verraco, who co-runs the TraTraTrax label, enlisted Nyege Nyege affiliate MC Yallah to feature on the three-track record’s closer, “Sobe Sobe,” with “Total” sandwiched in the middle. The Bogotá-based producer is currently touring Europe, with shows at Glastonbury and London’s Waterworks coming up later this year.
