She accentuated her look by wearing a wayfarer sunglasses and left her hair loose. Sharing the pictures from her family vacation to Mauritius, Shweta captioned it as:

She shared that TV producer, Ekta pulled up a prank on her before offering her the role. The actress revealed that Ekta first spotted her in Aane Wala Pal, a TV program aired on DD Metro. For the unversed, in 2001, Shweta played the role of ‘Prerna’ in Kasautii Zindagi Kay and became a household name. Recalling the moment when Ekta called her to her cabin to offer her the role, Shweta said:
“One day she said, ‘Call Shweta to my cabin, I want to take her case as this is not done.’ I was so scared to go and meet her after the pack-up. She said, ‘I have heard you come late on my sets. What do you think? We will wait for you?’ Later, she started laughing and said she wanted to offer me Kasautii Zindagi Kay. She said, ‘Prerna is my dream. I want you to play that.'”
