Actor Ranveer Singh’s birthday celebrations turned double after he released the first look of his upcoming film ‘Dhurandhar’. Ever since he unveiled the first glimpse, the actor has been receiving appreciation from fans on social media. Starting from his new look to the ensemble cast and the action-packed theme, everything received a thumbs-up from fans.
An X user, while mentioning Ranveer’s dedication to art, wrote, “Ranveer Singh really dropped that teaser and said ‘choke, babes!’ Never play with an actor who breathes art for a living. Period (sic).”
Another social media user reacted to the first look and wrote, “Holy Moly. ‘Ghayal hu isliye Ghatak Hu (I am injured, that is why I am dangerous)’. What a power-packed teaser. I am more excited more the ensemble cast, from R. Madhavan, Sanju Baba, Arjun Rampal to my favourite Akshay Khanna. Ranveer Singh is on full on swagger mode! (sic)”
Another X user also shared, “Ranveer Singh in Dhurandhar teaser looks like a beast. That intense look, desi vibe, and Punjabi BGM hit hard. This ain’t just a movie—it’s a storm coming (sic).” A fan also shared Ranveer and Akshaye Khanna’s intense looks from the first look and captioned, “Bhaisahab Jabardast excited for this one (Fantastic, excited about this one).”
While reacting to the ‘Dhurandhar’ first look on Instagram, a fan wrote, “Our king is back with a bang.” Another fan commented, “Happy birthday to the most beautiful hero, the most beautiful person, and the most beautiful owner of a kind heart. I love you from the bottom of my heart (sic).”
The first look of ‘Dhurandhar’ shows Ranveer’s appearance in long hair with an intense expression. There are also some violent action sequences backed by pulsating music in the two-minute, 39-second first glimpse. Apart from Akshaye, the looks of Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal were also unveiled in the video.

‘Dhurandhar’ is set against the backdrop of Indo-Pak tensions in the 1970s. Ranveer portrays India’s first agent, who started the undercover operations. In order to generate curiosity about his character, in a surprising move, the actor wiped his Instagram feed a day before his birthday.
The spy-thriller is written, directed, and produced by Aditya Dhar and co-produced by Lokesh Dhar and Jyoti Deshpande. It is scheduled to release on December 5, 2025.
