Sara Tendulkar is the daughter of legendary cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar and his wife, Anjali Tendulkar. In a recent interview, Sara Tendulkar has finally broken her silence about taking her first steps in Bollywood.
Sara Tendulkar opens up about her plans to enter Bollywood
Sara Tendulkar, who is a registered nutritionist by profession, recently sat down for an interview with Vogue India along with her mother, Anjali Tendulkar. During the conversation, she reflected on her years growing up, struggles with PCOS and her career. Among other questions, Sara was asked if she would soon make her Bollywood debut. In her reply, Sara said:
“I do multiple things. The foundation is my full-time focus, but I also work in the fashion, beauty and lifestyle space as a creator. I try to take up what feels authentic to me, and I don’t say yes to everything. Acting is not something I’m interested in. I’m an introvert, and cameras scare me.”
In the same conversation, Sara Tendulkar added the reason for staying away from films. She revealed that as a popular influencer on social media content creator, she has already received multiple inquiries about being a part of different films. However, Sara holds the opinion that she won’t do justice to her role. Consequently, in the end, she will be more worried than satisfied with her work. In her words:
“I’ve turned down all movie inquiries because I don’t think I would do justice to the job. It would just give me more anxiety than it would give me satisfaction.”

In the same conversation, Sara Tendulkar, whose outings are often covered by paps, shared her views on it. She mentioned that despite being the daughter of a globally renowned cricketer, she had a normal childhood where she used to play with her neighbourhood friends, attend classes and more without being noticed. However, things have changed now because she is surrounded by her paparazzi in gyms, restaurants and more. She said:
“I had a normal childhood, playing in my colony with friends and attending classes. Paparazzi culture wasn’t so extreme. Now, they’re just everywhere, even in restaurants and gyms. In terms of keeping up appearances, I try to be as authentic to myself as possible. There are no airport looks. I wear what I feel like.”

Sara Tendulkar has been popularly linked with cricketer, Shubman Gill for the last few years. The duo kept silent about those rumours, but recently, fans noticed that they had unfollowed each other on Instagram. At the same time, in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Shubman mentioned that he has been single for the last three years. Later, Filmfare revealed that sources mentioned something is blooming between Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sara Tendulkar. There’s no confirmation from Sara and Siddhant’s sides on this matter. A source said:
“It’s still early days in Siddhant and Sara’s friendship, so it makes sense that neither one would want this news to come out. I wouldn’t want to jinx this beautiful union either.”
