Serena Williams and Ashlee Simpson Ross were among the guests who attended a cocktail reception hosted by Evan Ross, Ross Naess and family in honor of Arne Naess Jr. and Arne’s Reserve Caviar on Thursday in London. For the summertime occasion, both Williams and Simpson Ross styled pieces that spoke to their respective approaches to fashion.

Williams opted for the Sand Garden midi dress courtesy of Farm Rio. The 23-time Grand Slam champion and Wyn Beauty founder‘s dress featured an asymmetrical neckline adorned with a 3D floral appliqué and ornate pleats on the bodice. The sunshine-yellow tone was wholly evocative of the summertime season. The dress seamlessly merged a botanical-inspired design with artistic flair. Williams paired the dress with brown sandals and accessorized with bold sunglasses.

Simpson Ross opted for her take on the classic little black dress wardrobe staple. The singer, who’s been married to Evan Ross since 2014, styled a sleeveless maxi slipdress in black with a plunging neckline. Simpson Ross accessorized with a statement necklace and a pair of black shoes. Her auburn hair was worn down with a middle part and her glam featured such standout elements as bold brows and lined eyes with glossy lips.

Simpson Ross and Williams also posed for photos with singer Diana Ross’ daughter Chudney Ross, who opted for a sleeveless polka dot black-and-white dress, which she paired with black platform sandal heels.

Members of the Ross family, including Diana, Evan and Tracee Ellis Ross, previously attended the 2025 Met Gala last May. For the occasion, Tracee wore a suited look that played with proportions courtesy of Marc Jacobs, while Diana styled an 18-foot-long shawl with the names of her children embroidered onto the fabric.
