Iran has again shut its central and western airspace for international transit flights on Wednesday, according to the statement of Civil Aviation Organization. The move, which affects key air corridors used by global airlines, comes amid rising regional tensions and security concerns. The restriction impacts only overflight routes , with no permissions granted for landings or take-offs at airports within the affected zones. This marks the second major closure in recent weeks, following similar disruptions in June linked to regional instability.Aviation officials said the decision was made for operational safety and will be reviewed based on ongoing risk assessments. Airlines flying between Europe and Asia may face longer routes and increased fuel costs as a result.Iran had reopened these corridors only days earlier after a brief ceasefire in the region, but fresh concerns have triggered renewed caution.
