After a one-off Wolf Gray colorway launched in fall 2024, it appears Nike’s seldom-seen Air Foamposite Pro model is about to receive a bigger marketing push. With the Pearl colorway worn by Ray Allen’s Jesus Shuttlesworth character in “He Got Game” expected to receive a reissue in November and the early 2000s University Blue style expected next spring, reports have surfaced of even more styles set to be released in 2026.

Highlighting the new pack of Nike Air Foamposite Pro drops is a staple Triple Black colorway. According to Sneaker Market RO, the style will be released during summer 2026 alongside an original-styled Gym Red look.

In-hand images of the ’26 Triple Black pair have yet to surface, but an early speculative mock-up indicates the pair will match the 2004 iteration of the sneaker with a fully blacked-out Foamposite upper, black jewel Swoosh, black outsole and subtle white accents on the toe Swoosh, heel, and pull tabs.

The Nike Air Foamposite Pro Triple Black has technically been released twice: first in 1997 and again in 2004, but despite sharing strong similarities, the two pairs were differentiated by their rubber outsoles. The original ’97 version featured a clear outsole, which appears as more of a gum color on vintage pairs, while the ’04 reissue opted for a fully black aesthetic.

The Triple Black theme has been frequently featured on the model’s Swooshless Air Foamposite One counterpart. Nearly every iteration of the Triple Black Air Foamposite One has been a quick sell-through, so readers should expect a similar reaction to the upcoming Air Foamposite Pro.

With a style code of HF0794-002 and a full colorway of Black/Black, the Nike Air Foamposite Pro Triple Black is expected to be released in June for a to-be-determined retail price. The aforementioned Wolf Gray style was priced at $230, so readers can likely expect a similar price range.
