The Traitors has become India’s favourite reality show at the moment, featuring interesting participants from across the entertainment and content creation industries. Amid logic, game plans and smart plays, emotional bonds in the show are also shining through. Especially, the friendship between popular content creators, Purav Jha and Apoorva Mukhija, has got everyone talking. Recently, Purav and Apoorva shared an emotional moment in the show which has touched many hearts.
Purav Jha makes an emotional confession on Apoorva Mukhija’s expulsion
The promo of the upcoming episode 9 of The Traitors hints towards Apoorva’s elimination from the show. One of the most loved contestants of the show who ruled over the house with her smart and strong gameplay, is likely to be out of the house in the upcoming episode. This revelation has left the fans heartbroken. However, in the trailer there’s someone who is more sad by Apoorva’s expulsion, and that is her ‘bestfriend’ Purav Jha. He said sorry to Apoorva and confessed that he has become really attached to her. Purav stated:
“I am really sorry. Mereko terese attachment bohot zyada hai yaar.”
Purav Jha and Apoorva Mukhija’s bond in The Traitors
The tagline for The Traitors, hosted by Karan Johar, is “Yaha trust karna mana hai”. All the players are suspcious of each other in the game, however despite this Purav and Apoorva made a strong bond in the house. Very early on in the show Purav had once said that, “Mujhe Apoorva ko leke bohot waise lag raha hai”. He also went on to say later that Apoorva has become his bestfriend now and there is a heart-to-heart connection between them. Fans are loving this bond between the two popular content creators and there many fan-made edits of their moments circulating on social media.
Apoorva Mukhija addressed link-up rumours with Purav Jha
As more and more fans started shipping Apoorva and Purav together, the former took to her vlog channel on YouTube and addressed those rumours. She said in the video, “There are 82,000 edits of me and Purav. And it’s only going to get worse after this drop”. The content creator also opened up about how the editing of the show could be deceiving. Apoorva then also asked another participant, Elnaaz, if she had seen the fan edits of her and Purav. Elnaaz stated that she had seen a video featuring the duo.
Apoorva Mukhija talked about episode 9 of The Traitors
Apoorva Mukhija was reportedly outsed from the show in episode 9. Talking about this particular episode, she said that the conestants did not play the game with logic. Apoorva felt that more logical players were sidelined, while players who did not understand the game as much were all made ‘Innocent’. She said that other contestants like Uorfi Javed, Jasmin Bhasin and Harsh Gujral were ‘not using their brains’. Apoorva said about episode 9:
“So basically, in episode nine, there is a task where three marshals are burning behind us. And Karan Johar tells people that whoever they trust the least, they have to go and extinguish their maashal. Okay. So, of course, it’s Uorfi and the gang, right? Uorfi, Harsh and Jasmin – none of them are using their brains. It means I am doing it, but they were also not using their brains. Everyone has made the dumb people innocent to guess who the traitor is.”
