In a playful video posted to Instagram, the couple are seen fully dressed in casual hoodies, flashing a mirror selfie before settling in for a quiet meal in an empty café. As the clips unfold, there’s not a soul around—a perfect, private breakfast scene early in the morning.
Attaching a caption to the clip, Twinkle wrote with her signature, “Recession tip – Want to book a restaurant just for the two of you? Save the big bucks and show up so early for breakfast that it’s you, owls and a paper-mâché bunny.” Fans instantly fell in love with her clever hack: turning an early start into a nearly exclusive dining experience.
Twinkle Khanna, daughter of film icons Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia, had a flourishing Bollywood career in the late 1990s, with films like Barsaat (1995), Jaan (1996), Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai (1998) and Baadshah (1999). After her final film Mela underperformed, she transitioned into writing, interior design, and parenting.
She met actor Akshay Kumar during a photo shoot for Filmfare, and the pair got married on 17 January 2001. Their union has since become one of Bollywood’s most enduring, with the couple raising two children: son Aarav and daughter Nitara.
