Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have reportedly called it quits after nearly 10 years together.
“Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable,” a source close to the pair told Us Weekly Wednesday.
“It’s not contentious at the moment. Katy is of course upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life.”
According to the insider, the couple “have been tense for months,” so their split has been “a long time coming.”
The “Teenage Dream” singer — who is currently her “Lifetimes” tour — has been dealing with the breakup by “keeping busy” with her work “and is distracted.”
While she continues to travel for her job, the source added that Perry is currently “renting out” her Westcott home in Montecito, Calif.
“But her and Orlando have always lived in their other Montecito home as their primary residence,” the source added.
The exes were originally “planning on making the Westcott home their family home but plans have changed” and “have been living apart since Katy has been on tour.”
Reps for Perry and Bloom did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
