Kareena Kapoor Khan wished sister Karisma Kapoor a happy birthday with a heartfelt post, acknowledging their recent struggles after Karishma’s ex-husband Sunjay Kapur’s passing and expressing hope for brighter days ahead.

On Karisma’s 51st birthday, Kareena Kapoor shared a throwback photo on Instagram featuring Karisma and Saif Ali Khan, calling it her “most favourite” picture of the two.

While sharing the photo, Kareena wrote, “This is my most favourite picture of you both (heart emoji)… To the strongest and the bestest girl in the universe… It’s been a tough year for us.”

She continued, “But you know what … as they say tough times don’t last … the toughest sisters do… To my Sister, my mother, my best friend … Happy birthday My Lolo (heart emoji) @therealkarismakapoor.”

The comments section was filled with love and warm birthday wishes for Karisma Kapoor from friends and family. Malaika Arora wrote a heartfelt “Love u Lolo,” while Sonam Kapoor shared, “Happy birthday Lolo, we love you.”

Bhumi Pednekar also wished her with a simple “Happy Birthday,” and Ayushmann Khurrana dropped a red heart emoji.

Kareena Kapoor Khan was last seen in Rohit Shetty’s 2024 action film Singham Again, starring Ajay Devgn in the lead. The fifth installment of Shetty’s Cop Universe, the film also features Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, and others.

Recently, Karisma Kapoor’s ex-husband, Sunjay Kapur, passed away at the age of 53 while playing polo in England. Reports indicated that a bee sting caused an allergic reaction, leading to cardiac arrest. The former couple shared two children, Samaira and Kiaan.
