Actor Thalapathy Vijay is celebrating his 51th birthday on Sunday (June 22). On the occasion, several celebrities, including filmmaker Atlee, actor Dulquer Salmaan and director Vignesh Shiven, wished the actor on social media.

In a video shared on his Instagram story, filmmaker Atlee shared a video of fans celebrating the release of ‘Mersal’ to extend his birthday wishes to the actor.

Actor Dulquer Salmaan wished Thalapathy with an adorable photo. He shared a picture of them hugging with a caption that read, “Wishing Thalapathy Vijay Sir a very happy birthday!! (sic)”

Director Vignesh Shivan, husband of actor Nayanthara, wished Thalapathy Vijay on his birthday by sharing a photo of himself with the superstar. The caption read, “….It’s not easy to earn so much love from everyone around. Be the blessed human you are. And your intention to choose ways to give back love to your fellow humans. May all the hard work and efforts become a huge blockbuster.(sic)”

Vignesh also wished him the best of luck for his upcoming film, ‘Jana Nayagan.’

Earlier on Sunday, the makers of Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Jana Nayagan’ unveiled the much-anticipated teaser of ‘First Roar’, which will be his final film. A poster was also released in which the actor can be seen sitting on a leather throne.

In the film, Vijay will be seen opposite Pooja Hedge. ‘Jaya Nayagan’ is set to release in theatres on January 9.
