Asics has teamed up Mouratoglou Academy, one of the most renowned tennis academies in the world, on a new partnership.

Through this partnership, more than 100 Mouratoglou Academy coaches across three countries will be equipped with Asics’ latest performance footwear. Asics noted that the new deal is driven by its T-Project initiative, which is focused on accelerating growth for the tennis category globally.

Patrick Mouratoglou, founder of Mouratoglou Academy, said in a statement that working with Asics is a “natural fit.”

“I’m proud to see our coaches supported by a brand that truly understands what it takes to shape the next generation of champions, through their superior product and their belief in Sound Mind, Sound Body,” Mouratoglou said.

Mitsuyuki Tominaga, president and chief operating officer at Asics, added that this partnership with the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy exemplifies the company’s “unwavering commitment” to nurturing the future of tennis.

“We know the coach is the most important figure in a tennis player’s life on court, so we are therefore proud to partner with Patrick and the Academy’s world-class coaching team,” Tominaga said.

The academy is renowned for its cutting-edge training programs and the development of young premier athletes, which attracts top tennis talent from across the globe. Under the leadership of Patrick Mouratoglou — one of the most influential coaches in tennis history — the Academy has become a global reference for high performance tennis.

The Asics x Mouratoglou Academy global partnership will be activated at all of the Mouratoglou Academies worldwide, including in the French Riviera; Atlanta, Ga.; Zephyrhills, Fla.; and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.

This news comes one month after Asics Corp. reported net sales in the first quarter of 2025 were 208.3 billion yen, a 19.7 percent increase from 174.1 billion yen in first-quarter 2024. The company noted that this is the first time its net sales have surpassed the 200 billion yen threshold on a quarterly basis.
