Bollywood Khiladi, Akshay Kumar, along with his wife, Twinkle Khanna and daughter, Nitara were recently spotted at Mumbai airport, probably going on a family vacation. Videos of the three that are going viral, show a protective side of Akshay Kumar towards his daughter, Nitara. When the paparazzi tried to follow Nitara to get her picture, he held the camera person from behind and didn’t let him take the picture.
Airport moment of Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna
The family was spotted at the airport and the video of the same was uploaded on Instagram by HT City. When they arrived, Akshay took the lead, stepping out first, followed by Nitara and Twinkle. When the paparazzi started clicking photos, Twinkle guided Nitara to a place away from the camera flashes while they both posed for the photographers. Akshay Kumar chose a simple and stylish look, with a black printed T-shirt, grey pants, white sneakers and a bag around his neck, while Twinkle Khanna wore a blue blazer above jeans. She also carried a brown bag that matched with her footwear. Nitara, on the other hand, looked cute in a shrug over a white top with blue jeans, white sneakers and carried a backpack with her. It felt as if the three were going on a trip after the release and success of Housefull 5.
Akshay Kumar’s protective nature towards Nitara
After Twinkle Khanna guided Nitara, she and Akshay posed together for the photographers. Things got a little tense, when one photographer decided to follow their daughter, Nitara and take her picture. As he was going, Akshay calmly but firmly held his shoulder from behind and stopped him from going towards Nitara. While the paparazzi apologised for this behaviour, Twinkle held Nitara’s hand and walked away. Akshay, later smiled and, before entering the terminal posed for one last photo. Netizens appreciated his calm, relaxed, yet protective nature towards his family.

After giving a successful film, Housefull 5, Akshay Kumar is all set to deliver a few blockbusters. On June 27, 2025, he will appear in the Telugu mythological epic, Kannappa, directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, where he plays ‘Lord Shiva’ alongside Vishnu Manchu, Prabhas and Mohanlal. After this, he will be working on Bhoot Bangla, a horror-comedy directed by Priyadarshan, which will feature Tabu and Paresh Rawal. He will be seen in films like, Welcome 3, Hera Pheri 3 and Jolly LLB 3.
