Sufi Motiwala and Fukra Insaan have been hitting the headlines, almost gathering the entire place on social media with their recent feud. Sufi Motiwala is known as a fashion influencer and a style critic, and he recently grabbed attention with his presence on the show, The Traitors. Abhishek Malhan is a well-known name as well. He goes by the name the ‘Fukra Insaan’, and grabs attention with his roasting videos on YouTube, if not only for gaming. He was also seen in Bigg Boss OTT 2 and emerged as the runner-up. However, recently, both of these famous faces hit the headlines with controversy.
Abhishek Malhan and Sufi Motiwala controversy: The former made homophobic comments about the latter
It all began after Triggered Insaan, Nischay Malhan, got married to Ruchika Rathore. Just like every other time, Sufi was doing his job as he reviewed and shared his personal opinion on Nischay and Ruchika’s wedding outfits. Sufi gave Nischay and Ruchika’s wedding outfits 8 out of 10, and while he called the bride’s look ‘muggy’, he also questioned the importance of a pair of sunglasses with a sherwani, which the YouTuber actually opted for. Giving a review about Nischay’s wedding outfit, Suif said:
“It looks like you googled and chose the first options that showed on wedding outfits.”
Abhishek Malhan, a.k.a. Fukra Insaan, took to his YouTube, and during a roasting session, he played Sufi’s video. While replying to Sufi’s review, he said that he would give all the deets about Nischay and Ruchika’s wedding outfits. Well, the first sentence he uttered for Sufi sparked a whole lot of backlash, as it got tagged as ‘homophobic slurs’. Addressing Sufi Motiwala, Abhishek said:
“Ye bhai hai ya behen hain? Yeh Kaun Ladka Hain? Ladki Hain? Praani Hain?”
Sufi Motiwala hits back at Abhishek Malhan for his ‘homophobic slurs’
Such a comment surely didn’t go down well with Sufi Motiwala, and he hit back at Abhishek Malhan, as he felt it was not just an insult but also a bad influence. Taking it to his IG handle, he posted two separate stories. In the picture that Sufi shared, he slammed Abhishek for the kind of words he used. Sufi called Malhan ‘uneducated’ and ‘blind’. He further revealed how he received more than 100 DMs on his IG, calling him a ‘chakka’, the exact kind of words that Abhishek meant for him.
In a video message of him, Sufi Motiwala further slammed Abhishek Malhan. He said that his name, ‘Fukra,’ is appropriate for him as he is not even educated. He further questioned how he could even utter the words like ‘bhai ya behen’. He stated that while Abhishek is one of the top creators in the country, then at least he should be a better example to people, rather than being ‘homophobic’.
In the 45-second video, Sufi further questioned if Abhishek is the biggest creator and why he is even triggered by a 21-year-old creator. He also shared how Fukra instigated his fan pages to spread hate on the former’s name. In a word, such a heated exchange has grabbed all the attention, and it ended up being another huge controversy.
