Former television actress Charu Asopa and her ex-husband, Rajeev Sen, have been facing turbulence for the past few months. Once known for their cordial co-parenting relationship, where they often shared happy moments with daughter Ziana, things soured after Charu announced her decision to quit acting and relocate to her hometown, Bikaner, with their child, Ziana. Rajeev, reportedly unaware of this plan, openly opposed the move, fearing it would strain his bond with Ziana. Since then, their war of words has grabbed headlines, marked by accusations and personal digs.
Rajeev blames Charu’s unresolved past trauma for their recent feud
In his recent YouTube vlog, Rajeev Sen held Charu Asopa’s unresolved past trauma responsible for their ongoing discord. Without diving into specifics, he shared that after speaking with Charu’s mother, he learned about incidents from Charu’s past that continue to affect her. Rajeev alleged that she is now projecting this unhealed emotional baggage onto him, which is damaging their relationship further. Adding that similar things would happen in her future relationships, too, Rajeev said:
“Everything that she has spoken about me to the media, I don’t think any person or any news channel would talk about any criminal. I was very close to her mother for about 6 months. I came to know a lot of things during that time about Charu, and it has a lot to do with her past life. That trauma and everything that she has been through, she is taking it out on me. Even normal couples fight, but when you carry a certain past unsolved trauma until you don’t release that, she will keep doing the same thing again and again. Be it with any guy that comes into her life.”
Further in the vlog, Rajeev shared that Charu’s recent behaviour stems from unresolved trauma, accusing him publicly despite once affectionately calling him ‘baby’ and trusting him enough to accompany him on several Dubai trips. He added that their genuine bond was evident in their countless shared photos and videos, proving the mutual warmth that once existed. He remarked:
“Clearly shows that if a guy is so bad like me, there must have been some goodness in me that she went on multiple trips with me to Dubai. Pictures and videos bohot kuch bol deti hai. It is not only about Ziana. She used to call me baby and all, and she spoke all things negative about me in that interview.”
Rajeev Sen lashes out at Charu Asopa for bringing her family into her vlog
In his vlog, Rajeev also slammed his ex-wife for involving her family in her vlog to badmouth him. While none of them took his name directly, it was clear from their discussion that they were talking about him. Calling it ‘childish behaviour’, Rajeev said:
“Jab kisike saath aap galat karte ho, aur usmein aap apne family ko bhi involve karte ho. To kitni galat baat hai. Kabhi bhi aapne dekha hai ki maine apni family ko involve kiya hai vlog mein aakar kisike baare mein bole? Maze ki baat to ye hai ki teeno ne mera naam nahi liya. Kyu bhai? Dar gaye?”
For those unaware, Charu Asopa was previously married for nine years, but the relationship ended over compatibility issues. She was later engaged to TV actor Neeraj Malviya, but they called off the wedding. Charu then married Rajeev Sen in 2019 and welcomed their daughter, Ziana, in 2021 before divorcing him. Up until their recent fallout, they had remained on extremely cordial terms.
