The US is significantly increasing its military presence in the Middle East. Two aircraft carrier strike groups, including the USS Nimitz and USS Carl Vinson, are being deployed to the region. Additionally, 31 refuelling aircraft have been moved to Europe. The deployment includes bases in Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Jordan, Iraq, Syria, and Oman. This buildup comes amid rising tensions in the region, with concerns about potential Iranian retaliation against US bases.
