Dipika Kakar is back home after her 14-hour-long surgery and eleven days in the hospital away from her two-year-old son, Ruhaan. However, in these difficult times, it was her husband, Shoaib Ibrahim, who stood with her as a pillar of her strength while her mother and her in-laws held her fort while she recovered in the hospital. Shoaib even became the bridge between the actress and her fans praying for her speedy recovery.
Dipika Kakar returns back home, Shoaib Ibrahim shares her journey
On June 13, 2025, Shoaib Ibrahim took to his YouTube channel, and shared a video with the title ‘Ghar aa gaye, Shukriya dil se.’ It was a 19:31 minute-long video, and it started with Shoaib sharing that they were going back home. Dipika got her IV tube, which was stuck to her neck, removed while she was in the hospital. Later, the couple thanked the hospital staff and doctors for being with them during the surgery.
While coming back from the hospital, Shoaib gifted red roses to Dipika. At home, her son, Ruhaan, looked the happiest when he saw his mumma back home. Dipika spent some quality time with Ruhaan, and even got her face painted by him. It was a wholesome family moment. Later, Saba, Dipika’s sister-in-law, greeted her and welcomed her with a purple-hued orchid bouquet.
Further, Dipika and Shoaib thanked fans for praying for her and doing puja and namaz for her good health. The actor stated that he realised that YouTube is filled with a lot of love despite the hate and negativity. Shoaib added that he was about to post the vlog, but didn’t due to the Air India crash. He called it a sad moment for the entire nation and prayed for the strength of all those families who were affected by the crash.
Dipika Kakar’s tumour surgery lasted for 14 hours
For the unversed, Dipika’s surgery was conducted at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. The surgery lasted for 14 hours. In his latest vlog, Shoaib revealed that he dropped her off at the operation theatre at 8:30 in the morning, and she came out only at 11:30 in the night. Soon, she was out of OT, she was rushed to the ICU, where she remained under observation for three days. The actor shared:
“I am extremely grateful to everyone who has showered blessings and prayers for Dipika. Dil se bohot bohot shukriya. Her surgery was successful, and she is safe now. Her tumour is completely out. Dipika’s tumour is now taken for biopsy, and the reports will come in a few days. Please pray that Dipika gets completely recovered, and hopefully, in a few days, Dipika will also get discharged.”
Shoaib also revealed that he started panicking around 6 in the evening as he didn’t have any idea about Dipika’s surgery, and he had never seen such a long surgery in his life. Shoaib was quoted as saying:
“8:30 baje mein Dipika ko OT mein chod ke aaya and 11:30 woh bahar nikli. Mai usse mila, woh bhi direct ICU mein jab usse shift kiya. 6 ya 7 baje ke baad main panic hone laga and sabne ghar pe bhi panic karne lage. Andaar se koi khabar nahi aa rahi thi aur ek ghar mein hota hai na ki ghar mein kisi ne kabhi aise itni lambi surgery dekhi nahi thi.”
