Ahead of the premiere of Reacher‘s third season, Amazon Prime Video gave the action thriller an early renewal for Season 4, and now the series is back in production, with key details already coming through.

When will Reacher Season 4 premiere?
Amazon has not announced a release date for Reacher Season 4, but the streamer did announce the start of production in June. Chances are, Season 4 won’t premiere until sometime in 2026.
What book will Reacher Season 4 be about?
The next season will adapt the story in Gone Tomorrow. Fans began to speculate that this would be the case, based on a visual clue shared on the show’s social media feeds after an Instagram photo accompanying the start of production announcement, the script was placed on what appears to be a New York City subway seat.
Then, Alan Ritschson himself confirmed as much with an Instagram photo of himself with the book.
Gone Tomorrow finds Reacher embroiled in a major mystery after he witnesses a woman, who matches the description of a potential suicide bomber, die by suicide in front of him, leaving questions about her murky past as a Pentagon staffer. “The thing about subway cars is you step on one and you never know what’s going to happen,” the actor captioned his photo.
The first season was based on the debut novel, Killing Floor, which was chronologically the fifth book in the series. Then, Season 2 was based on Bad Luck and Trouble, which was the 11th book to be released and 14th in the chronology. The third season of Reacher was based on Persuader, the 11th book to be released and the seventh chronologically.
Who will star in Reacher Season 4?
While no official cast has yet been announced, it has been confirmed by Amazon that Alan Ritchson will return to his role as Jack Reacher. As for the rest of the cast, each season has seen the addition of a bevy of new stars to play the characters associated with the individual storylines at hand.
What else is there to know about Reacher?
In addition to renewing the action series for Season 4, Amazon also announced a series order for a Reacher spinoff, Neagley, which will feature Maria Sten returning to that role.
