The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025 was conducted successfully on May 4, between 2 pm and 5 pm. In the current year, over 22 lakh students appeared for the medical entrance test, which was conducted in a single shift.

Candidates who appeared for the test stated that the exam was tougher and longer than the previous years.

Since the NEET UG 2025 exam is over, students are waiting for the provisional answer key to be released. Following past trends, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to release the provisional answer key in late May 2025.

The NEET UG result is usually released around four to five weeks from the date of the exam.

NEET UG 2025: HOW TO DOWNLOAD ANSWER KEY

• Go to the official NEET website: neet.nta.nic.in

• Find the link of the NEET UG provisional answer key on the home page.

• Log in using your application number, date of birth, and security code.

• Your screen will display the provisional answer key.

Besides going through the provisional answer key, students will get a chance to raise objections in case they suspect there are irregularities.

Objections can be made online, and for each objection, the candidate will need to pay an objection fee.

Once the window for objections has closed, NTA will then go through the objections and provide the final answer key. Please note that the final answer key can be different from the provisional one.

The final answer key is usually released a few days before the NEET UG results are declared. Candidates are recommended to remain in touch with any additional notifications by the NTA on the answer key and results.
