Fresh off her French Open title, Coco Gauff arrived in New York on Monday wearing a look that blended sport and fashion with sharp intent. The 21-year-old champion was photographed carrying her trophy in a full Miu Miu outfit, pairing pieces from the brand’s spring 2024 collection with metallic sneakers from her upcoming collaboration with New Balance.
On foot, Gauff wore the silver-and-gold iteration of the Miu Miu x New Balance 530 SL sneaker. The sneaker silhouette, which first launched in 1992, returns this fall as part of a larger capsule that includes co-branded apparel and updated versions of Gauff’s performance model, the Coco CG2.
While the CG2 has remained reserved for tournament play, Gauff has leaned into the 530 SL as a lifestyle option, making this one of her earliest public wears of the new colorway. The sneaker, first teased in campaign images this past April, is set to officially launch this fall.

The 530 SL maintains a slim, low-profile silhouette that distinguishes it from other New Balance styles and reflects Miu Miu’s pared-back aesthetic. This version features gold metallic accents at the toe and heel, a gum sole and tonal laces. The shoe’s lightweight frame and neutral palette position it as a versatile option within the capsule, which Gauff is expected to wear throughout the summer, including at upcoming tournaments in Berlin and Cincinnati.
The rest of her look leaned into tailored sportswear. Gauff wore Miu Miu’s Vichy check technical fabric blouson jacket and matching skirt — both from the label’s spring 2024 collection. The A-line miniskirt featured a drawstring waist, front zip, snap-flap pockets and a subtle logo at the hem. Though the outfit isn’t part of the upcoming collaboration, it emphasized her growing alignment with the brand ahead of the September drop.
Gauff’s Miu Miu x New Balance capsule officially releases Sept. 10 through miumiu.com and select Miu Miu boutiques.
