In a video shared by Mashable India, Aamir is seen dressed in casual attire, enthusiastically preparing vada pavs. From applying chutneys to the pav to stuffing the hot vada and handing it out to eager passersby, Khan looked completely immersed in the experience. Onlookers gathered in large numbers to catch a glimpse of the actor, with many capturing the moment on their phones and enjoying the freshly prepared snack.
This unique activity is part of the ongoing promotional run for Sitaare Zameen Par, Aamir Khan’s much-anticipated return to cinema after a three-year break following the underwhelming performance of Laal Singh Chaddha in 2022.
Directed by R. S. Prasanna, Sitaare Zameen Par is a sports comedy-drama and a spiritual successor to Aamir’s 2007 critically acclaimed film Taare Zameen Par. The film stars Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh in key roles and is the official remake of the Spanish hit Champions (2018). Notably, it features a cast of real actors with Down Syndrome, making it a rare and inclusive film in Indian cinema.
Opening in theatres on June 20, 2025, Sitaare Zameen Par tells the story of a hot-headed coach who must train a basketball team made up of people with special needs.
