Known for keeping her personal life away from media glares, the actress got engaged to businessman, Ashish Kanakia, and today, on June 5, 2025, the couple tied the knot in a private ceremony. The duo are yet to share the official pictures from their wedding nuptials on the internet, but the first glimpse of the bride and groom has surfaced on the internet and the couple looks nothing less than a dream.

After a long wait, Shazahn Padamsee tied the knot with Ashish Kanakia in a private wedding ceremony. The couple held a two-day intimate affair, which their close friends and family members attended. An after-party will reportedly take place on June 7, 2025. The nuptials were organised at Courtyard by Marriott in Mumbai, owned by Kanakia group, which holds a special significance for Ashish’s family as earlier this year, his sister, Niyati, tied the knot at the same place with filmmaker, Ashutosh Gowariker’s son, Konark Gowariker, in a star-studded wedding.
For her big day, Shazahn exuded glow in a richly embellished Ivory lehenga with pastel and blush pink undertones. It featured intricate patterns and sequin work, which gave the elegant dress, a subtle shimmer. She paired it with a matching sleeveless blouse, and a matching dupatta dropped gracefully over her shoulder and head. The actress completed her bridal look with a necklace, maang teeka, earrings, hair styled in soft waves and subtle makeup with a dewy finish. On the other hand, Ashish wore a traditional off-white sherwani with textured embroidery.

Shazahn Padamsee and Ashish Kanakia’s roka ceremony was held in January 2025, and the actress shared her pictures on social media. The Housefull 2 actress wore a pastel pink lehenga with minimal jewellery, while her beau, Ashish, wore an ivory sherwani. Talking about the same with ETimes, she said that it was the beginning of a new chapter in her life, and Ashish’s family welcomed her with open hands. In her words:
“Ashish’s family has been so warm and welcoming that it’s difficult to believe we’ve known each other for just two years. It was such a special day. The one person I miss the most is my dad. I wish he had been there by my side, sharing the moment with me. He would have been so happy and proud.”
Shazahn Padamsee met Ashish, son of Rupal and Rasesh Kanakia, through her childhood friend, who arranged their meeting, and the duo felt an instant connection with each other. However, she didn’t intend to rush, so they met for dinners for a few months before they began dating. Despite their different backgrounds, they share the same values which connected them. The couple got engaged in November 2024.
