Tanishaa Mukerji, Karishma Tanna and Sunny Leone attended an interesting session named ‘Star System on OTT: Loading soon, or Playing Out Already?’ at the Bollywood Hungama Style Icons Summit and Awards 2025.

Karishma Tanna said, “There are so many influencers who have become actors because of the platform they have. The actors meanwhile are just sitting somewhere, waiting for the right project to come, and the influencers are taking it over. Why? This is because they have the talent of showing and creating that content on Instagram which we actors can’t do. We are still struggling for some reason. I see the A-listers also doing the trends because it’s trending. Hence, it’s a struggle for me also. If tomorrow the social media shuts down, I am okay. It’s too much headache to handle!”
At the end of the session, Tanishaa Mukerji gave an interesting answer when asked about taboo surrounding lingerie, “Honestly, nowadays, Gen Z wears lingerie to go to workout. They are usually in sports bras and pants, at least in cities. But in small towns I am sure it’s a bit of a taboo. I don’t feel this taboo should be eliminated completely. This is because chhupane mein hi toh sex appeal hota hai. If we start talking about our lingerie in front of men, then the charm and sexiness of it will go away. Amongst your girlfriends, mothers, etc, it should be totally fine and one should be more open about these things, especially with regards to bra size. A lot of women and their daughters don’t know about it. Hence, it’s more about education. But I also look at it as undergarments. Lingerie has more to do with seductiveness.”
