Niecy Nash and her wife, Jessica Betts, showcased their red carpet styles at the Black Women in Music Dinner, held in Los Angeles on Tuesday. Nash conveyed that metallic outfits are here to stay, pairing her gold Christian Louboutin pumps with a matching Andrew GN minidress.

Nash wore the Christian Louboutin Iriza silhouette, which is a d’orsay style with the vamp cut down on one side. The silhouette otherwise features standard pump elements, such as a pointed toe, an enclosed back, and a stiletto heel. The French luxury brand offers the Iriza in 85 mm and 100 mm heel options, as well as versatile colorways such as patent black and blush. The silhouette stands alongside other popular pump styles from the label, such as the Pigalle, the Kate and its variations, and the new Miss Z.

Nash’s shoes complemented a high-shine look from Andrew GW’s fall 2021 ready-to-wear collection. The thinly pleated minidress featured long sleeves with flared cuffs, as well as a ruffled neck. The garment was cinched at the waist with a tonally matched metallic belt featuring an ornate square buckle. The silhouette also included strongly pointed shoulders.

Betts complemented her wife with a suit look featuring a partially buttoned white collared shirt over a simple white top, black trousers and no jacket, exuding a laid-back aura.

Metallic shoes have proven themselves to be a fixture in the fashion world, whether worn on a red carpet or while out in New York City, as seen on Taylor Swift, who donned a bold pair of silver Gucci platform sandals for an outing with Selena Gomez on Sunday.
