Global icon and the best-selling female artist of all time, Mariah Carey, is celebrating the 20th anniversary of her monumental 2005 album, ‘The Emancipation of Mimi,’ with a definitive suite of expanded deluxe releases is out now via Def Jam Records/UMe. This comprehensive collection promises to immerse fans in the era that redefined her illustrious career.
The centerpiece of this anniversary celebration is a lavish, limited-edition 5LP vinyl box set, personally curated by Mariah herself. This ultimate collector’s item combines the original multi-platinum album and beloved tracks from the ‘Ultra Platinum Edition’—including hits like “It’s Like That,” “We Belong Together,” “Shake It Off,” and “Don’t Forget About Us”—with dozens of bonus tracks. The expansive set features ‘Emancipation’ era dance remixes, artist collaborations, instrumentals, acapellas, and edits, alongside brand-new remixes from acclaimed producers like KAYTRANADA and Esentrik. Housed in a beautiful slipcase, the collection also includes a 28-page booklet with stunning photos and a personal letter from Mariah to her devoted fans. A deluxe 2LP vinyl set will also be available.
