The US military has released details of the opening phase of what it calls “Operation Epic Fury,” outlining actions taken in the first 24 hours of the campaign amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.
In a statement posted on X, the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) provided an operational update, signalling the start of a coordinated military effort in its area of responsibility. The post appears aimed at offering an early snapshot of the mission’s scope and tempo as developments continue to unfold in the region.

Meanwhile, an unnamed US defence official told Fox News that the long-range bombers flew directly from the US to Iran. The B-2 Spirit is designed to evade radar and deliver heavy bunker-buster munitions against deeply buried targets.
