Actor Arshad Warsi recently offered fans a sneak peek into Casa Zen, a 150-year-old Portuguese-style home in Goa that he and his wife, Maria Goretti, have lovingly restored. Sharing a video on Instagram, Arshad showcased parts of the five-bedroom heritage house, which is located in the picturesque village of Saligao in North Goa.

The house, painted in white with varying shades of brown, features vibrant, colorful floors that add to its charm. A large swimming pool with a beautiful deck surrounds the property, creating a serene atmosphere. Additionally, massive vases filled with plants are placed around the pool, further enhancing the home’s aesthetic appeal.
As Arshad walked through the house, the video showcased furniture pieces in various colors, including almirahs, chairs, tables, and couches. Beautiful art pieces adorned the walls, while indoor plants added a touch of greenery throughout the space. In the video, Arshad expressed his love for the home, saying, “I just can’t get enough of my beautiful house in Goa. Absolutely crazy about it. Every day, there is a new place to chill.”
Arshad then shared a glimpse of his garden, which features a mango tree, and spoke about his deep appreciation for the lush greenery around the property. Stepping outside, he continued, “Today I’ve decided to come and sit here. Just outside the house. Look at it, so much greenery.”
He continued, “Lovely mangoes on my tree. It’s time to sit here and relax and thank my stars and thank everybody who is responsible for giving me such a beautiful life. Thank you.” In the post, Arshad captioned the video with, “Just a thank you to everyone.”
The couple has preserved the original Portuguese architecture of the house, with its high ceilings, pillars, and large wooden windows. However, they have added a modern touch with bold colors and an abundance of indoor plants.
The dining room features jungle-themed wallpaper, with seating painted in shades of green, blue, and purple, creating an earthy and vibrant atmosphere. The corridor showcases a striking blue and gold cabinet, while several figurines are scattered throughout the house, adding character and charm. The entrance of the house is marked by indigo-textured walls, setting the tone for the rest of the space.
One of the bedrooms in the house features white and cream walls, illuminated by bright lights that give the space a clean, airy feel. Arshad has also added solar panels to the roof of the home, showcasing a commitment to sustainability. While the outdoor walls are primarily painted white, they are accented with streaks of indigo and yellow, adding a vibrant touch to the exterior.
According to Wildflower Villas, the team that manages the property, the house is available for vacation rentals. The entire home can be rented for Rs.75,000 (plus taxes) per night.
