Babar came in at No.4 with Pakistan reeling at 6 for 2 in 1.2 overs after Sahibzada Farhan and Saim Ayub fell in quick succession. Salman Agha’s dismissal to Jasprit Bumrah soon left Pakistan at 13 for 3 after two overs, and Babar was soon outfoxed by Axar Patel.
Axar delivered a perfectly angled, flatter ball that left little room for the right-hander. Attempting a wild slog across the line, Babar missed completely, and his middle stump was sent cartwheeling. Axar celebrated as the stumps fell, leaving Pakistan rattled and struggling to regain composure in a high-pressure contest.
