One of New Balance’s most popular new lifestyle models just received a seasonal refresh with five new colorways available now from the Boston brand’s e-commerce store and select retailers.
The New Balance 2010, which is sometimes called the Abzorb 2010, is arriving at stores now in a group of varying materials and shades, several of which are already selling out in select sizes.
The first release of the bunch was a winter-appropriate Tornado/Faded Black/Dark Silver Metallic look which blends various earth tones across the retro-inspired model.
The more recent arrivals play with the material makeup of the 2010, with Black/Faded Black/Phantom and Cortado/Thunder Brown/Faded Black adding ripstop underlays and boot-like rope shoelaces to the sneaker.
And the final pairs in the group switch things up even further, with Black/Pink Heat/Magnet and Silver Metallic/Team Red/Concrete looks leaning into the model’s Y2K inspiration with glossy patent leathers and diamond-textured synthetics.

The New Balance 2010 was introduced in May 2025 and is notable for its visible Abzorb SBS cushioning. While it’s a new model, the 2010 riffs on retro New Balance design language including the brand’s iconic 990 series. Its reveal came shortly before another one of the brand’s popular new lifestyle models, the Abzorb 2000.
While still a relative newcomer in the marketplace, the New Balance 2010 has already received some high-profile collaborations including projects with designer Joe Freshgoods and sports agent Rich Paul.
And as the 2010 and Abzorb 2000 models continue to trend, New Balance has already offered a glimpse at what’s next from its lifestyle output. At Paris Fashion Week, the brand debuted a 5030 collaboration with retailer Slam Jam and offered a closer look at its upcoming 1890A moccasin hybrid.
