FP Movement, Free People’s activewear brand, has scored a multiyear partnership with professional tennis player Emma Navarro. FP Movement will be Navarro’s exclusive activewear partner during this time.
Navarro is a Top-10 WTA singles player known for her competitive edge, versatility and calm under pressure. She has established herself as a force on tour, highlighted by a semifinal appearance at the 2024 U.S. Open and quarterfinal runs at the 2024 Australian Open and 2024 Wimbledon Championships.
“Emma embodies the confidence, strength and authenticity we look for in every FP Movement athlete. She reflects our values as much as our aesthetic and brings to life our mission to support fitness, wellness and happiness throughout movement,” said Jack Reynolds, chief marketing officer at Free People and FP Movement.

The partnership between FP Movement and Navarro will incorporate different areas of the brand over the duration of the collaboration. She will be involved in campaigns, social-first content, and real-life experiences with the brand’s community, among other things. In addition, Navarro had a hand in creating custom outfits that she’ll wear on and off the court. These styles will be available to the public to purchase multiple times throughout the year. This month, the first collection will drop with two exclusive styles tested by Navarro.
“I’ve loved FP Movement for years, so this partnership feels like a really natural fit. I’m excited to work together and to create outfits that feel true to who I am, both on and off the court,” said Navarro.
FP Movement continues to collaborate with professional female athletes to support the brand’s overall message of fitness, wellness and happiness.
In 2020, FP Movement, which was established in 2012 as a category of Free People, emerged as an independent brand, opening its first stand-alone store in L.A. Today, the brand has 56 stores nationwide, and sells stores such as Dick’s Sporting Goods and independent fitness studios.
Last January, Navarro became a brand ambassador for jewelry label Mejuri. She signed a two-year partnership with the label, and agreed to wear Mejuri jewelry exclusively on and off the tennis court, collaborate with the brand on in-person activations and work on capsule collections.
