Sharing her cancer diagnosis with her fans, Dipika wrote, “As you all are aware last few weeks have been quite difficult for us… walking into the hospital for a pain in the upper area of my stomach… and then finding out it’s a tennis ball-sized tumour in the liver… and then finding out that the tumour is second stage malignant (cancerous)… it has been one of the most difficult times we have seen.”

Despite the diagnosis, the actor remains hopeful and strong. “I am all positive and determined to face this and walk out stronger, InshAllah! With my entire family being by my side… and all the love and prayers pouring in from all of you, I will sail through this too!” she added.

The actor also urged her followers to keep her in their prayers as she begins treatment.

Many celebs commented on the post and wished her a speedy recovery.

Dipika Kakar is best known for her role in ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ and was the winner of ‘Bigg Boss 12’. She married actor Shoaib Ibrahim in 2018, and the couple welcomed their first child in 2023.
