Fashion Hits and Misses at the 2026 Golden Globes

The Golden Globes red carpet has long been one of awards season’s most fashion forward stages. Less rigid than the Oscars and more playful than many other ceremonies, it has historically encouraged celebrities to take risks, experiment with silhouettes, and redefine red carpet norms. The elevated setting favored drama and movement, rewarding gowns and looks designed to command attention from every angle. Trains, sweeping hems, sculptural volumes and elongated proportions were perfect as celebrities ascended the steps and becoming one of the biggest trends of the night.

This year best dressed list also included trends such as metallics, bright spots of color such as greens and a good amount of sheer. Here are the best looks of the night, and a few misses, but one thing is for sure, the leading ladies and gentleman took red carpet fashion to the next level.
