Bella Ramsey Gives Prada Suiting a ‘Slick and Contemporary’ Update on the Gold Globes 2026 Red Carpet

Bella Ramsey turned the 2026 Golden Globe Awards red carpet into their own personal runway on Sunday night in Beverly Hills, Calif., in a look designed by Prada.

Styled by Fabio Immediato, Ramsey’s look put a fresh spin on suited styling, featuring a structured satin suit with a jacket and trousers paired with a draped fuchsia double satin shawl, constructed with pressed asymmetrical pleats. “For this awards season, I was in search of interesting ways to present a suit without looking like a typical suit,” Immediato told WWD.

“We have been working with Prada for a while and going back to the archives and past collections. There was this satin bow detail from the 2019 fall collection that stuck with me and along with the design team, we were looking at ways of how to include it in a more modern, slick and contemporary way that would befit Bella’s aesthetic.”

Ramsey made their Golden Globes red carpet debut back in 2024, wearing a pared back suited look courtesy of Prada.

Immediato has been working with Ramsey for the last few years, describing to WWD how “very fortunate” he feels to have such a seamless relationship with the actor. “Once design ideas are finalized with the brand, I am given the sketches to present to Bella and we go through and discuss fabrics and (luckily) we tend to share a mutual feeling of excitement about the look we want to use,” Immediato said.

“When we first started working together, we were pretty much in this masculine silhouette suit world. Over time, we started to explore more interesting cuts and androgynous silhouettes while continuing to keep it all slick, modern and above all comfortable to move in.”

With other high-profile clients including “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” star Joseph Quinn and “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” actor Simu Liu, Immediato confessed there is “a little bit of self-inflicted nervousness” come awards season.

“You work months and months in advance and you create a character around which you hope to build a cohesive fashion story,” he said, though ultimately describing the collection of months and events as a “beautiful” opportunity “to see people on their best glamorou fashion game.”

Ramsey earned their second Golden Globe award nomination for their leading performance in the second season of the HBO series “The Last of Us,” the TV adaptation of the popular video game of the same name. Ramsey was previously nominated for their performance in the series’ first season.

The 83rd Golden Globes are underway tonight at The Beverly Hilton, honoring the best in 2025 film, television and podcasts. “One Battle After Another” leads the film categories with nine nominations, with “Sentimental Value” and “Sinners” close behind, while “The White Lotus” tops TV nods. Hosted for the second consecutive year by Nikki Glaser, the ceremony airs live beginning at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on CBS and streams on Paramount+.
