Somya Seth, who was best known for her role as ‘Navya’ in the hit serial, Navya, is living the best phase of her life in the United States. The actress has been through her share of difficulties after her first marriage failed, with whom she has a son. However, Somya didn’t let herself down in the unknown land, but rather, she re-established herself as a real estate agent and found love at the age of 33. Not only this, Somya is all set to welcome her second child. Recently, she shared glimpses of her dreamy baby shower bash.

On May 26, 2025, Somya took to her Instagram handle and posted a couple of pictures from her dreamy baby shower bash. Her family hosted a cutesy baby shower bash in her backyard. The mommy-to-be was dressed up in a pretty beige-toned dress with a matching cardigan, in which she flaunted her adorable baby bump. In the first picture, we can see a pretty backdrop with peach, rose gold and white-hued balloons and ‘Oh baby’ written atop the photo op.
In the next photo, Somya was posing with her husband, Shubham Chuhadia, and their son. The little boy was cradling her mumma’s baby bump, and it was the cutest moment. The next photo was a glimpse of the yummy cake with white, cream, and a pink-toned rose cake topper. In another one, we could see her son cutting the cake, and it looked like a gender-reveal cake, but Somya didn’t show further, (so, only time will tell). Sharing the post, Somya wrote:
“May 24, 2025 — a day I’ll never forget. Our home, my heart, the backyard breeze… everything was perfect. This baby shower wasn’t just a celebration for baby shark #2. It was a full-circle moment of love, support, laughter, and memories that’ll stay etched in my heart forever. Thank you to every soul who made it magical.”
Somya Seth’s Godh Bharai ceremony in India
In April 2025, Somya made a short visit to India, where her family held an intimate Godh Bharai ceremony for her. For those who don’t know, Godh Bharai is a traditional baby shower, wherein the elders in the family shower blessing on the to-be-mother and her baby.
For the ceremony, Somya wore a rani pink-hued saree. She hid her baby bump in open pallu. She accessorised her look with a traditional neckpiece, matching earrings and kadas. Subtle makeup and hair left open completed her look. Along with the photo, Somya penned how her one-week trip to India flew by in a flash, with every moment planned in advance. She wrote:
“Can’t imagine how quickly the week flew by. Just 1 week in India. Every morning, afternoon and night was eventful. Every minute was planned months in advance. #Godbharai.”
When Somya announced her second pregnancy
Earlier, in April, Somya announced her second pregnancy. In the video, she was dressed up in a dark grey bodycon dress with cap sleeves. The dress perfectly showed off her fully-grown baby bump. In the clip, the trio turned and pointed at Somya’s baby bump, hinting that the second child was on the way. Along with the video, Somya wrote:
“Soon, we’ll be a party of four. Our hearts are full, our hands will be even fuller—and we wouldn’t have it any other way!!”
