Joe Rogan set off fresh debate after a strong comment about the future of Nick Fuentes. During a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan said Fuentes “could probably win [the presidency] in a few years.” The line came while Rogan was talking with comedian Shane Gillis. Rogan did not support Fuentes’ views. Instead, he spoke about how the internet helps loud and shocking voices grow fast. He said people like Fuentes are shaped by social media, where attention moves quickly and strong reactions bring more views. The talk came as Fuentes faced fresh pushback after a heated appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored and as criticism kept building from many sides of politics.Joe Rogan’s words spread fast online. Some listeners were surprised. Others were upset. The moment stood out because Rogan framed Fuentes as a sign of how power and fame now work on the internet, not as a normal politician. By putting that idea first, Rogan pushed the debate into the open right away.

Joe Rogan and Shane Gillis explain why Nick Fuentes gets attention online

Rogan said Fuentes is the kind of figure who “couldn’t have existed” twenty years ago. He pointed to social media systems that reward shock, speed, and constant posting. Rogan described Fuentes as a young man with a “very high verbal IQ” who leans on trolling and extreme lines to pull focus. He gave examples, including Fuentes saying women should not be allowed to vote. Rogan said,“There’s like a whole group of people that feel very unrepresented in the world. Especially like young men. Here you got this young guy with a very high verbal IQ, and he also does a lot of sht posting, a lot of talking sht, a lot of trolling, says women shouldn’t be allowed to vote, wild.”Gillis agreed with the point about attention. He said humor makes Fuentes harder to shut down. Gillis added,“The thing that people try to get Fuentes on is that he’s still funny. So that’s where you’re in a lot of trouble.”Rogan said that mix of jokes, shock, and irony lets Fuentes dodge criticism while staying visible. He also talked about Fuentes’ clash with Piers Morgan. Rogan recalled a moment when Fuentes joked “Too soon?” after being called out for a Holocaust comment. Rogan said Morgan looked stunned, like he had been “hit with a missile.”Away from podcasts, Fuentes keeps drawing anger from leaders. In a December 23, 2025 interview, JD Vance rejected Fuentes after racist remarks about Vance’s wife, Usha Vance. Vance said anyone attacking his family “can eat” and called such attacks “disgusting.” The reaction showed how far the backlash has spread. Also Read: Nick Fuentes Faces Consequences As Court Orders Community Service After Pepper Spray Assault On 58 Year Old Woman Caught On Video
