An Italian woman living in Dubai shared a touching Christmas gesture that won social media users over, after she surprised a delivery worker with a cash gift and small tokens of kindness.
Instagram user Fabrizia Franceschetti posted the video, which captured a simple yet deeply human interaction at her doorstep. As she opens the door to receive her delivery, she warmly greets the delivery agent and asks how he is doing.
After a brief exchange of pleasantries, Fabrizia asks him if he celebrates Christmas. When he replies that he does not, she responds that she still wants to give him a gift.
Visibly surprised, the delivery man asks, “A gift?” to which Fabrizia explains that she feels fortunate to earn well and wants to share that privilege. She then hands him 500 dirhams, leaving him smiling and repeatedly thanking her for the generosity.
The moment doesn’t end there. Fabrizia goes on to ask if he likes chocolates or would prefer some water. She then rushes back inside and returns with a bottle of water and a chocolate, handing them to him as he stands at the door, touched by the gesture.
