Actor Sophie Turner became a cheerleader for her ex-husband Joe Jonas as he recently released his new solo album – ‘Music for People Who Believe in Love’. This show of support came several months after their split. The new album, which was released on May 23, features several songs which were inspired by his relationship with Turner and subsequent divorce.

Turner shared a screenshot of the album with a Spotify streaming link and wrote, “Go go @joejonas (sic).” The music album is Joe Jonas’ first solo album in 15 years.

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas’s divorce was finalised in September 2024, almost a year after the two separated. The two agreed on shared custody of their two daughters, Willa (4) and Delphine (2).

In 2024, Jonas told Billboard that he saw music as his outlet at the time of his divorce from Sophie Turner. “It was scary at times, and also freeing. I’m not trying to come for anyone on this album. I’m not trying to put stuff on blast…I’m a happy person, and the music need to resemble that – but also, the journey to get here,” he said.

Continuing further, he said, “I was going through a lot of life changes, finding out who I was as a person and father and friend, and living under the microscope of what the music industry can be. And I think, at such a crazy time in my life, I looked to music as an outlet.”

One of the tracks titled ‘Work It Out’ released in July 2023, before the couple announced their split. Another song titled ‘Hey Beautiful’ is a love letter to his beautiful daughters.
