On Saturday night, the makers of the film officially announced its release date — October 2, 2025 — coinciding with Gandhi Jayanti. A gripping motion poster was also unveiled, giving audiences a first look at the film’s powerful backdrop.

Set against the backdrop of the 1971 India-Pakistan war, Ikkis chronicles the inspiring life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetrapal, a Param Vir Chakra awardee who laid down his life in the line of duty at the young age of 21. Agastya steps into the shoes of the brave soldier in what promises to be an emotionally stirring performance.
Directed by Sriram Raghavan and produced by Maddock Films, Ikkis also features Dharmendra and Jaideep Ahlawat in key roles. The film blends national pride, history, and sacrifice, and aims to honor one of India’s youngest war heroes.
