BJP Rajya Sabha MP Ram Chander Jangra stirred a political storm during his visit to Bhiwani on the occasion of Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Jayanti. Speaking at a public event, Jangra made controversial remarks about the widows of the Pahalgam terror attack, suggesting they should have fought back against the terrorists instead of pleading for their husbands’ lives.

“If the women in Pahalgam had shown the courage of Rani Laxmibai or Ahilyabai Holkar and confronted the terrorists, fewer people would have died. Terrorists don’t listen to folded hands,” Jangra said while addressing a gathering.

When questioned about the lack of arrests in the Pahalgam attack, Jangra stated, “Our army has destroyed the hideouts and masterminds of the terrorists, even if the attackers haven’t been caught.”
