Poco has officially launched the C85 5G in India, expanding its lineup with a device that focuses on performance and battery life at an affordable price. The Poco C85 5G will be available in three colours—Mystic Purple, Spring Green, and Power Black. With features aimed at the budget segment, the device seeks to appeal to users looking for robust specifications at a competitive price point.
Poco C85 5G design and display
The Poco C85 5G comes with a flat frame and measures only 8.05mm in thickness. The device has a square camera module. The back panel comes in a dual-tone matte finish, giving a sleek and premium look. You also get a headphone jack.
The C85 5G features a large 6.9-inch HD+ LCD display, which offers a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 810 nits of peak brightness. The display also features TUV Low Blue Light, TUV Flicker-Free, and TUV Circadian certifications, aiming to reduce eye strain during prolonged use. There is also an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.
Poco C85 5G performance and battery
The Poco C85 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and supports up to 8GB of RAM, with the added benefit of up to 8GB of virtual RAM expansion. You also get UFS 2.2 storage.
For long battery life, Poco has given the device a 6,000mAh Silicon-Carbon battery, which supports 33W wired fast charging and 10W wired reverse charging. Poco claims the device can deliver more than 106 hours of music playback.
Poco C85 5G cameras and software support
In terms of imaging, the Poco C85 5G features a 50-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. The device can record videos up to 1080p.
On the software front, Poco has announced that the C85 5G will receive two major Android upgrades and four years of security updates. The device runs on HyperOS 2, based on Android 15 out of the box.
Poco C85 5G launch and price
The Poco C85 5G starts at Rs 11,999 for the base 4GB/128GBvariant. The 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB models will cost you Rs 12,999 and Rs 14,499, respectively. You can get bank offers worth Rs 1,000 on the device.
The C85 will go on sale on December 16 on Flipkart.
