Prime Video will soon release a new Jessica Biel and Elizabeth Banks drama called The Better Sister. This upcoming limited series is based on the novel by bestselling author Alafair Burke, and Biel and Banks play sisters Chloe and Nicky, who have a seriously complicated history.
In the story, Chloe’s husband, Adam (played by Corey Stoll), has been murdered. Adam is Nicky’s ex, and their son, Ethan (Maxwell Acee Donovan), is being raised by his dad and aunt. Their life was painted as a picturesque, happy marriage before the murder, but the tabloids have a field day with the “sister wives” after his death, and Ethan seems to be the prime suspect.
